The Scrapbook Quests is a collection of stories involving a pair of young children, seeking adventure and missing treasures. Friends and family surround them as they explore mysterious surroundings, unravelling strange historical stories with the help of a local museum curator.
Two children, Valerie and Alex, chase down clues and find strange and amazing places, avoid sinister adversaries, and solve mysteries buried in history. Gemstones with magical qualities, lost treasures, and supernatural events all intertwine with the children's adventures, as they work toward their goals, despite the obstacles that they face.
The Scrapbook Quests is an action—packed thrill ride with ghosts, ancient mysteries, and lost treasure. Valerie and Alex use every resource they can get their young hands on, and occasionally rely on their parents and siblings for a little help. Their small city is rich with historical events that provide them with adventure beyond measure. They fight to stay one step ahead of their adversaries, while following the clues needed to reach the ultimate end of their quests.
The one person who sets the children in motion on these adventures is their Grandmother, pulling stories from long ago out of an old scrapbook that she has kept over many years. Valerie and Alex are keen to accept the next epic story from their Nana's pages, examining each story for the clues they need to succeed. Despite their Father's cautioning, and his wish that their Grandmother would not fill their heads with 'crazy' ideals, the children forge ahead to solve ancient mysteries, and locate important and valuable artifacts.
In the end, an amazing epic unfolds right in front of them, carrying them off into fun and antiquity. Follow along with the two young adventurers as they complete their missions to fill in the blank pages of their Nana's scrapbook, meeting new friends and adversaries along the way…
